About Michael

I am a practising counsellor in the Plymouth area and a member of the governing bodies British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP - Registered) and National Counselling Society (NCS - Accredited) where you will find me listed in their Directory.

I am committed to providing counselling in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment.

I love witnessing client growth and recovery and the privilege of being part of their journey. My passion is my work with my clients.

As an Integrative Counsellor, I work in more than one way using Person Centred, Gestalt, CBT, Mindfulness and Transpersonal models to help clients explore what is troubling them and to heal and grow, all within a safe, non-judgmental space. Through everything, the client remains at the centre of all our work and my commitment to you is total. As a therapist, my work with you will be to facilitate change and to do that I want to see and understand your world as you see it, and your place within it. I want to hear your experience and how that experience impacts on your world.

“Nobody can make you feel inferior without your permission.” —Eleanor Roosevelt

Added Value

In addition to my counselling skills, I bring life experience offering added value to the therapeutic experience. With a lifelong passion for people whether through mentoring, coaching, training and motivational skills during careers in management, personnel or past business experience, counselling is my natural home and the vehicle that enables my lifelong passion to be put to best use to help others.
